The Warrior Poet - Pacific Northwest inspired poems from another time.

Cardinal Vision

The black waters of indifference lap over the chilling winds of doubt as I descend the 13 steps of trepidation fitfully giving birth to another poetic creation that once again bares a slice of my violet thoughts for the world to digest, judge, and spit into the vestige that is guarded by the golden leopard and the crystal jay who together protect the renaissance poet from the raven as he gazes out a moss stained window recording the jumbled musings he finds scattered about him he hopes will help the three princesses of innocence understand a life well lived and of a battle won for a tortured soul that opened a prism revealing a second chance to change the world before the strands of time are blown onto the copper fibers of connectivity where people from many paths converge placing in darkened corners their problems and inadequacies to enjoy each others compassionate escapes before reality rudely yanks them back to the ceaseless trappings of lives just lived for the sake of living devoid of their true purpose buried deep within the forest of sub-consciousness that unknowingly drives the lemmings through the waters of each day never realizing the cardinal vision for change that so few use to shape the global consciousness modestly transcending mortality in the incandescent lime light of being.
