The Stream of Conscious Library

I am not really sure how, or where, the form for these poems came from. I know that my first true Stream of Conscious (SoC) poem was 'The Broken Pieces of My Mind'. I truly fought to get this poem on paper. I can't even truly remember how long I worked on it. I just know that it wasn't happy until I threw all the rules out and made my own.

I imagine one single person reading this poem, in one single breath. As with all SoC poems I make sure that each word fits with the one before it, and the one after it. Allowing the poem to wander along itself through the ideas that loosely hold it together.

It has now become my favorite form to write in. I love the flexibility that allows me to concentrate on the things I am strong at; ideals and imagery. Please enjoy.
