The Warrior Poet - Pacific Northwest inspired poems from another time.

Woman

Oh, what sad circumstance to be man.
Enslaved by the most primal urges.
Devoid of all rational thought,
mindlessly obeying the commands of the loin,
forced blindly into acts of selfishness.
To be hard and cold,
ignorant of innocence, love or affection,
desiring only the conquest of the flesh.

Oh, what great gift to be woman.
To have curves and swerves,
and to be ever so soft to the touch.
Strong in mind and in heart,
forever free from the sins of lust.
To desire only affection and love,
wanting nothing but to be loved in return.
To possess the power from that very first kiss.
