Duty - Honor - Vigilance

Ever wonder what it is like being a Soldier in the United States Army National Guard? What about a Sailor in the United States Navy? Ever wonder what it's like being in the military at all? Let me tell you the good, the bad, and everything in between. I have over 19 years of military service, including time spent with the U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams, as a Construction Supervisor in the Washington Army National Guard, and currently as an Operations NCO with the Washington Homeland Response Force. I have served on active duty with the Navy, in the Navy Reserves, in the National Guard, and on active duty with the National Guard. I have amassed over 13 years of federal active service and I enjoy it, and all it has to offer, immensely.

Inside these pages you will be able to catch a glimpse of what it truly means to be a member of our armed forces. I promise to show you the good, the bad, and the wonderful! All from an unbiased, non-recruiter, simple Soldier point of view.
